The Net.com experience

So yesterday, I finally had the time to visit The Net.com along Padre Noval near UST which was one of the good places where you could play online and LAN games. With my luck, I tried playing League of Legends there as per the invite of my friends since they were working on their completion requirements. It's not my first time to play in an internet shop but it was my first time in The Net.com, and sadly, the way their crew treated us was quite rude for my taste. Just so everything's clear, me and my friends, except my other friend, we were new to the place and didn't know how the trading works there. We knew nothing about making an account at The Net.com and having to load your account just so you could use one of their units.

As I've said earlier, we didn't know about the account thing and so we made our accounts, loaded it and started using their units. One of their female crews directed us to use the ones on the left side of the main counter, so we did. But it was hot that time and we decided to move on other units. There were chairs blocking the way, we didn't know what they were for so we continued, then we were reprimanded that those units are still unavailable so we returned to where we were before, then another female crew came and arranged the chairs that were left blocking the way(we moved the other chairs so we could make a way to get inside). And she rudely returned them to their respective units, it was obvious on her face that she was mad, I don't even know why but as a customer, I think we deserve better treatment than that. We couldn't even ask for an assistance due to the expression of the lady behind the counter, her expression was full of annoyance, as a customer, a NEW customer, I got annoyed. Add the fact that League of Legends weren't in a good service that time as we were constantly being disconnected to the game and we wasted almost 30 minutes in queue.

Sorry but I have to compare The Net.com to our usual Suba Net Cafe experience, both along P. Noval side, we were treated better. To think that Suba only has one crew to manage the shop, I think it's a big plus for them. The Net.com has awesome equipment, stunning place, I liked it, but for the whole crew-customer experience and treatment, it was entirely a bad one. I suppose, The Net.com management needs to assess their crews.

  1. I think the crews need to be trained and they need to be more aware of the culture of their working environment. Yup, your comment should be forwarded to the management for them to take necessary action.

    1. It was just sad that my very first time in that cafe ended up like this. I hope they could see this.

  4. bad user experience = bad marketing. they should train their staff with proper etiquette towards customers. in that way, first time visitors will become lifetime customers.

  5. Customizing yourself, place, people and system must be observed first before doing something of value to you. Not all sales crew are good and accommodating. That's life.

    1. It just annoys me that all three of them were in that attitude towards us. It was just a really bad experience for us. Knowing that The Net.com is one of the high-end gaming cafes in the Philippines.
